D1P Tutorial
Operation
Using a USB-C cord, plug the D1P into the USB port on a computer. The first indication that the D1P is functional is that the RGB animation will turn on. You can then immediately begin typing using the D1P. You do not need to install anything onto your computer. Type away!
Basic Use
The D1P is easy to operate with a bit of practice. The user types out a sequence of dots and dashes, then the keyboard reads the sequence and performs the corresponding action.
Tap quickly to make a dot.
Tap and hold for a short amount of time to make a dash.
After some time elapses since your last input, the D1P will attempt to process the sequence you inputted. If the sequence is valid, then it will replace the sequence with the corresponding character or action, otherwise it will simply delete your sequence.
To repeat an action, input the desired sequence, tap one more time and hold. The action will be repeated until you let go.
Special Inputs
SHIFT, CTRL, ALT: These are toggle buttons, so inputting any of these sequences simulates holding down that key. To release the key, simply input the sequence again.
SLOW, FAST: These modes allow you to choose the speed at which you input the sequence.
VISIBILITY: Toggle the visibility of the input sequence. This does not change the usage of the keyboard, but it speeds up the typing process.
TOGGLE RGB: Toggle the RGB LEDs.
STEP RGB: Step through the RGB animations.
BRIGHTNESS +/-: Control the brightness of the LEDs.
